EN On Saturday 21 October 2023, the last race of this year's domestic BMX season took place in Prague - Řepy. Bicrossers stood at the start of the already traditional charity race ŽENDARACE, where all selected starting and financial donations from visitors go to the account of the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic of the 2nd FN Motol in Prague. Závody This year was the 10th year of the race and it is also 10 years since the death of our friend Robin Ženíšek, who lost his battle with cancer. Anyone who looked at the weather forecast after the weekend races in Bohnice must have wondered if we would freeze in Řepy. But everything turned around as if by a magic wand and on Saturday it was wonderful sunny weather with summer temperature. The race as such is always free-spirited and with a friendly atmosphere. More than a race, it's more of a meeting with friends. The proof of this is the traditional pre-race ride for Robin, when at one moment all the competitors meet on the track and ride the track together side by side. However, a race is a race and there are always fights for victory, especially for victory at GENDARACE. The total number of riders was 279, which is a beautiful number. However, the most beautiful number was the number 204,052. More precisely, 204,052 CZK, which is the amount that was collected on this day, and which we handed over to the above-mentioned Clinic of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology 2nd FN Motol in Prague. This is the highest ever, which is more than appropriate for the 10th year of this race. During these 10 years, when ŽENDARACE has been organized, we have managed to collect a total of CZK 1,632,581. That deserves huge credit. And thank you all very much for that.
