EN A total of 335 riders took part in the sunny weekend in Venice. The Venetian club seems to know when to plan their races and everyone had another weekend with the sun above their heads after the European Cup weekend here in April. This time I used the live stream offer, which I think went well. In the future, I recommend the live stream on the Czech BMX YouTube channel to all those who cannot participate in the races. Závody Category 15/16 and cat. JM-U23-EM have their favorites this year, who confirmed their role last weekend as well. In the first mentioned category, Vít Novotný, fresh from the European Championship in Verona, is a finalist. With a bit of an exaggeration, you could say that he is more like racing himself and trying to improve his previous times from each race. Oliver Miltner and Albert Vlček exchanged second and third place on the podium during the weekend. In the top category, it is still a question of whether Marek Neužil will maintain his role as the favorite and leave the rest of the field or whether the young juniors will fight for the top step. The current answer is that Neužil fulfills his role and wins, but the juniors Klement and Cidlinsky, who are enjoying a successful season so far this year, are pushing to the forefront and quite possibly we will see interesting fights in the future. The most successful team in terms of the number of first places was the TJ Favorit Brno team, which recorded a total of eight victories.
