On Saturday, October 3, the 28th annual Prague 8 Grand Prix will take place, followed by the Bohnická Fašírka on Sunday, October 4. The weekend will also include a Holeshot, a jumping exhibition, a raffle or an exhibition of children's T-shirt designs. Entry for spectators is free. The program will start already on Friday, October 2 with free training, which will take place in case of favorable weather. The training will be without medical security and without a ramp and will be divided by category. From 17:30 to 18:15 the track will belong to the B6-B12 categories, from 18:15 to 19:00 to the B13+ and cruiser categories and from 19:00 to 19:30 to the JM/U23/EM categories. On Saturday, the Grand Prix of Prague 8 The main point of Saturday's program will be the 28th annual Grand Prix of Prague 8. Registration of licensed riders takes place online via czechbmx.cz until Friday, October 2 at 6 p.m. The race will be run on MYLAPS chips, which can also be rented on the spot. After the Grand Prix, a jumping exhibition will take place on the dirt tracks behind the grandstand. Holeshot will offer a fight for a financial bonus Saturday evening will also include the Holeshot, a special race for riders aged 15 and over. The attractiveness of the race is increased by the financial premium for which the riders compete. Last year, the prize exceeded 30,000 crowns. Supporters of the race can also contribute to the final amount via a transparent account. The organizers publish the details at the Holeshot Facebook event. During the weekend, there will be competition not only for cups and medals, but also for financial and material prizes. On Saturday, the prizes will include products from MixIt, on Sunday from Katmar. Accompanying program and exhibition of children's designs The sports program will also be complemented by an exhibition of t-shirt designs for Bohnicka meatballs, created by children during the summer camp. One of the children's designs became the inspiration for this year's t-shirt, which was created by designer Matyáš Křapa. A raffle will also take place on Saturday. According to the organizers, every second ticket will be a winner, with one ticket costing 40 crowns. Refreshments will be provided in the area throughout the weekend. A limited offer will be available already on Friday afternoon, grills and an outdoor bar will be added on Saturday. Camping for motorhomes A campsite will be prepared for visitors arriving in motorhomes on the training field behind the two football fields. It will open at 3pm on Friday and mobile toilets and water will be available, but no electricity connections. The price for parking is 800 crowns for the whole weekend. At the same time, the organizers ask visitors to respect the instructions of the coordinators and to park only in designated areas.
