So far this season has been very much affected by strong winds and it was no different in Sarrians. This bothered the rider quite a bit and caused many unpleasant falls. Saturday's race was relatively successful for our colors and everyone made it through the qualification to the next fights. Our women made it the farthest, where we were represented at the start of the semi-finals in both the U23 and Elite categories. In the same way, Marek Neužil, who had his premiere among the elite, achieved a good result and reached the quarterfinals of the first round of the SP on Saturday.

Sunday was less successful from the Czech point of view, but on the other hand, watching Sabina Košárková at the start of the U23 women's final was great. She was aiming for podium positions, but contact in the first corner meant her fall and eighth place overall.

Now our team is supplemented by Vítek Gruntorád in Dutch Papendal, where the riders are preparing for the weekend's third and fourth rounds of the SP. The weather has a significant impact on the free practice sessions so far, but let's believe that the riders will compete properly and fine-tune their form for the upcoming European Championship, which will be held in Sarrians in two weeks.
